The activity display board has been a great addition to our program. We are always
looking for new games and activities to incorporate into lesson plans. It is extremely
versatile and it provides so many fun ways to motivate our riders.
Lori, thank you so much for your continued work in making creative equipment and
games. It is evident how dedicated and passionate you are as you continue to develop new
and improved ways to enhance therapeutic riding. Your ideas and products energize us as
instructors which, in turn, benefits our riders!

Occasionally you come across something wonderful whilst reading. The other day I did
just this. I discovered a web site: www.thera-horse.com Oh! Why had I not
discovered this sooner, equipment and games for therapeutic riding, life would have been so
much easier. This site is full of wonderful equipment and ideas for activities at RDA. I
promptly emailed the owner/founder, Lori, to ask the question, do they ship to NZ? The answer
Yes! “Oh happy days” (Guy’s theme song). For all of you connected to the web check this site,
I know you will be ordering equipment as fast as you can type. But remember to ask your
committees first. There is so much to offer on www.thera-horse.com they will have to do some
major fundraising first.

I love the saddle extensions and all the different components you have. I recently received the magnetic boards with the scavenger hunt magnets. The kids loved them! And the volunteers too! We all stayed more engaged and as a result took advantage of many more 'educable moments' because of the props. And, the moms commented on how excited and SUCCESSFUL their kids were that day. To achieve all of these goals yet have a huge range of abilities amongst the individual riders is truly a bragging point Lori! Keep up the good work!
PS: The moms reported the next week that the kids talked about (or signed or used their augmentative communication device) me and the horses and playing all that week! Gotta love that carryover!
